Time to Act

FRIENDS - If you live in my home town, please VOTE this Tuesday in the primaries. (You must take your driver's license for ID.)

Billboards such as THIS ONE are decorating the town for a reason:

Steve Clark is the mayoral candidate who is working diligently on behalf of the Mona Lisa of our community - Rock Canyon. Quarrying the canyon would be like CUTTING OFF HER NOSE! (Do notice the bottom of the billboard shows our endorsement.)

Below, I have pasted (and slightly adapted) the message that went out to thousands in our community through my website - preserverockcanyon.com and through the Save Rock Canyon Facebook site. In case you didn't receive it, I encourage you READ BELOW.

CHOOSE & ELECT the CHAMPIONS of ROCK CANYON!

LATEST UPDATE from preserverockcanyon.com

Dear Rock Canyon Supporters,

Rock Canyon, continues to be threatened by mining. As leaders of PreserveRockCanyon.com, we have met with key stakeholders in the U.S. Forest Service, Provo City, attorneys, and involved political figures to preserve the crown jewel of our community.

We continue to push for a land swap to satisfy all parties. However, if we lose this option, we must elect strong leadership in the Provo City Council and Mayor's Office where power resides for deciding whether Rock Canyon is ruined by mining or permanently protected.

Rock Canyon must be saved. This is a critical time and action is needed. We urge you to promote, support, and work for the following candidates who are CAPABLE and COMMITTED to take action to PRESERVE ROCK CANYON.

Support these candidates who could Save Rock Canyon:

STEVE CLARK - Mayor / www.stephendclark.com
COY PORTER - City-wide Council Seat / www.coyforcouncil.com
DAVID ACHESON - District 2 Council Seat / dacheson@gmail.com (Facebook)
CINDY RICHARDS
- District 5 Council Seat / http://votecindy.com

DON'T LET THIS:
Rock Canyon if it were mined

ROCK CANYON as it appears now with SCARS FROM RECENT MINING.

BECOME THIS:
Rock Canyon if it were mined

ROCK CANYON
as it might appear IF MINING IS ALLOWED and rock is blasted and carried away.
