There were places to crawl . . .

There was also the fieldtrip to Logan Lake
where we rented a big ole pontoon boat.
Here's a shot of the crowd at the BACK of the boat.

- twas idyllic for picnicking and taking a dip in the water.
By now, the five grandbabies are more than ready to disembark.
So Duane, my Fix-it son-in-law, took matters into his hands
and heaved the boat with it's eleven passengers over to the dock.
The little girls took great pleasure at making sand creations on the beach . . .

That gal kept the fun times rolling for the preschool crowd!
was definitely a highlight of our day at Logan Lake.

Back at the cabin,
there was more than enough to do.
Games to play.

a business that will back-up blogs.
Of course, we ALL had to throw in some ideas
and hang around the computer to watch these geniuses
in the entrepreneurial 'flow'.

While hiking near the cabin, we discovered THE PERFECT fire pit.
On our first visit, we just IMAGINED the blazing flames.

puts children
into a rare meditative state.
because we were able to celebrate my son's 30th birthday.

What a great trip! Thanks for posting, Ginger!
You're Posts are SOOOO fun to read. What great pictures to describe out time in Ohio. That picture of Duane moving the boat is one of my faves. Sometimes I think about the fact that we are all here (and were all in Ohio) because of YOU! I also like the goofy picture, we all look pretty silly. I'm going to go look at your Rock Canyon site now, I've been seeing alot of press about "Saving Rock Canyon"
Pretty glorious trip. I coulda TOLD you about the mid-west if you'd asked me, ya know. About pontoon boats (I kept wondering what I'd see if I had a diving mask in that lake in Ark. But then, I maybe thought I wouldn't wanna know), and caves and all that stuff.
I envy you that trip. You're going to have to tell me what the occasion was -
Such a great post if I may say so myself!
Look what you and your three kids have turned in to. That's quite a group!
